Increases the conceptual understanding of data analysis and statistics for middle school teachers. Topics include terminology, basic statistical analysis, ratios, fractions, percentages, hypothesis testing, variables, data collection, statistical methods to analyze data including methods of central tendency and standard deviation, inferencing based on data, and simulation.  Optional 3.0 graduate credit hours available from Chapman University for course ED/D 9539.
